Oct 30, 2010· Here is a video of my Alpine removing a hardwood stump. The stump was about 14 inches in diameter and the tree was cut down last year. The teeth on the grinder was used to remove several stumps ranging from 10 inch to 20 inch diameter prior to this without sharpening. Once you get the technique wired, it cuts fast. It only took about 3 minutes.

I was using the Home Depot rental push grinder on that for something like 24-30 hours. It still needed to be touched up when I was done.

Around LA, a super high percentage of our stump are not accessible with conventional machines. I won't hesitate to charge $500 for a $150 stump that no one else can do!
